\nThe actions, subject of the memorandum of understanding, consist of specific support to the CIPB to support the Justice\/Taxation platforms relating to consultation and public\/private dialogue in the context of improving the business climate.
\nSupports are as follows:
\n\u2022 Mobilization of a team of experts to support the platforms in the development and implementation of sector themes to be addressed in the context of improving the business climate.
\n\u2022 Organization of two (02) consultation workshops on the \u201cJustice\u201d theme.
\n\u2022 Organization of two (02) consultation workshops on the theme \u201cTaxation\u201d.
\n\u2022 Recruitment of a consultant responsible for conducting the proofreading of Justice\/Taxation texts in the implementation in relation to the sectors selected.
\nFor the implementation of these actions, the budgets will be released annually on the basis of the PTAB which must be validated by the Ministry of Planning and Developments (MPD) and receive the notice of no objection (ANO) from the French Development Agency (AFD). PARASEP will directly cover the expenses necessary to carry out the activities covered by the Protocol.
\nDescription of planned activities
\nSpecific support will focus on:
\nAction-1: Mobilization of two (02) experts to support the platforms in the development and implementation of sector themes to be addressed in the context of improving the business climate.
\nAction-2: Organization of two (02) consultation workshops on the \u201cJustice\u201d theme. Incidental costs are covered by PARASEP.
\nAction-3: Organization of two (02) consultation workshops on the theme \u201cTaxation\u201d. Incidental costs are covered by PARASEP.
\nAction-4: Recruitment of a consultant in charge of conducting the proofreading of Justice\/Taxation texts in the implementation in relation to the sectors selected.
\nAction-5 (in 2020): Organization of four (04) consultation and dialogue workshops on the themes of Justice and Taxation. Incidental costs are covered by PARASEP.
\nActivities planned by amendment
\nWithin the framework of PARASEP (Part 1: Improvement of the investment climate), the actions, objects of this memorandum of understanding consist of specific support to the CIPB to accompany the Justice\/Taxation platforms relating to consultation and public\/private dialogue. as part of improving the business climate.<\/p>\n

Supports are as follows:
\n\u2022 Mobilization of a team of experts to support the \u201cJustice\u201d and \u201cTaxation\u201d platforms, for the identification and validation of the sector themes to be dealt with in the context of improving the business climate. “Follow-up of report validation meeting, Production of technical note(s) on the theme of “Justice” and “Taxation”, Organization and facilitation of at least one consultation and dialogue session on the theme of “Justice” and \u201cTaxation\u201d at the level of the PARASEP target sectors, from September 2020\u201d;
\n\u2022 Mobilization of a team of experts to support the platforms in producing technical note(s) on the theme of \u201cJustice and Taxation\u201d, Organization and facilitation of at least one consultation and dialogue on the theme \u201cJustice\u201d and \u201cTaxation\u201d, at the level of the PARASEP target sectors, from September 2020);<\/p>\n

\u2022 Duplication of the “tax and legal proposals of the Beninese private sector for the finance law, management 2020 which has just been validated by the Ministry of Economy and Finance” and the Ministry of Justice, Legislation and Human Rights Male ”
\n\u2022 Identification of the capacity building needs of actors in the target growth sectors. (Expert recruitment for Report validation workshop + Design and editing of product brochures)
